Performance begins with comfort.

Changes in movement, behavior, or performance don't always start in the arena. Sometimes they begin with tension, compensation, or discomfort that a horse quietly carries over time.

If your horse feels stiff, reactive, resistant, uneven, or simply not quite like themselves, they may be trying to tell you something.

Through the Masterson Method®, I help horses release tension using a gentle, horse-led approach that supports comfort, movement, relaxation, and partnership. Many owners are surprised by what their horses communicate during a session and by the changes they see afterward.

Whether you're looking to improve performance, address behavioral concerns, or simply help your horse feel their best, I'd love to help.

  • $75 per session (60 - 90 minutes)

What Makes My Work Different?

Your horse already knows what they need. I'm here to listen. My work is rooted in the Masterson Method®, a gentle interactive form of equine bodywork that works directly with your horse's nervous system. By following your horse's responses in real time, I can help release areas of tension and restriction that may affect comfort, movement and performance. This is not something done to your horse, it's something I do with them.

Sessions may include supportive techniques such as:

Light touch bodywork

Acupressure

Cranio-sacral inspired work

Energy balancing

Always guided by what your horse shows me in the moment.

Is This Work Right for My Horse?

Designer (25)_edited.jpg

From high-performance athletes to beloved backyard companions, horses of all ages, disciplines, and activity levels can benefit from bodywork.

You may want to consider a session if your horse:

  • Feels stiff or restricted in their movement

  • Has become resistant during saddling, transitions, or under saddle

  • Seems tense, reactive, anxious, or disconnected

  • Is returning to work after time off

  • Is experiencing the normal effects of aging

  • Competes, works, trails, or simply spends time being your partner

Many people schedule sessions not because something is "wrong," but because they want to help their horse feel as comfortable, relaxed, and free-moving as possible.

Every horse is different, and every session follows your horse's lead, honoring what they are ready to release.

Still wondering if this is a good fit? I'd love to learn more about your horse.

What to Expect

Each session is a calm, supportive experience for both you and your horse:

  • 60 - 90 minute hands-on session

  • Your horse is free to respond and participate

  • Work is done at their pace, no force or pressure

  • Many horses show signs of relaxation and release during the session

In addition to the hands-on session, you'll receive a written report to help you gain insight into how your horse is feeling and how to support them between sessions.
